What's included in a roof replacement
Start with what is under the shingles.
It's more than a replacement, it's a full roofing system. We start by removing the existing roofing down to the deck, inspect the exposed boards and repair or replace as needed. As with any build, the final product needs a strong foundation.
What we do
Inspect the exposed deck
Rot and soft spots are reviewed after tear-off. Replacement decking is priced per sheet, and every board replaced is documented with photos.
Build the complete system
Malarkey shingles, ice-and-water protection, underlayment, edge metal, flashing and ridge ventilation.
Install with care
Landscaping protection, daily cleanup, magnet sweeps and a final walkthrough.

Roof replacement questions

Yes. Every replacement is a full tear-off down to the structural deck. We never lay a new roof over an old one.
How is my roof replacement price determined?
By roof size, pitch, the number of layers to remove, access, and the system you choose. Your free in-home inspection ends with a clear written Good, Better and Best estimate. Board repair or replacement is priced per sheet.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most roof replacements take a few days. Larger or steeper roofs and weather can add time.
Who manages the installation?
Our production team, from our pre-installation site visit to the final walkthrough.
What warranty comes with a new roof?
Two warranties. Malarkey's standard Limited Lifetime shingle warranty, with full coverage (no depreciation) for the first 10, 15 or 20 years depending on the shingle you choose, plus Stormshield's own workmanship warranty, with its term written into your contract.
Is financing available?
Yes, financing is available.* Ask your estimator for an application with your estimate.
