We're a family-run residential roofer working out of Oakland County. Asphalt shingle and standing seam metal — installed to manufacturer spec, walked twice before we leave, and backed by a warranty that names the people who did the work.
We don't try to be everything. We install asphalt shingle roofs and standing seam metal roofs, and we've narrowed our material list to the products that actually hold up here.
GAF Timberline HDZ, Owens Corning Duration, and Malarkey Vista AR — three lines, picked because they handle ice, hail, and a freeze-thaw cycle without curling. Full tear-off, ice and water shield six feet up from every eave, synthetic underlayment, six nails per shingle.
See the spec → 50+ year roofMcElroy, Drexel, and AEP Span panels in 24-gauge steel. Hidden fasteners, mechanically seamed where it matters. We also install Decra stone-coated steel when the homeowner wants the look of shake or tile but the lifespan of metal.
See the spec →Every estimate lists the underlayment, the nail pattern, the ice-and-water coverage, the ridge vent we're using, and the flashing we're replacing. If a competitor's bid is cheaper, we'd rather you find out exactly what they left out before you sign.
We don't sub the install to whoever's available that week. Our lead foremen have been with us six years or more. You'll meet them on day one and they'll be the ones walking the finished roof with you on day two.
If a hailstorm rolls through, we'll tell you straight whether your roof is worth filing on. We don't bird-dog claims, we don't take a percentage, and we won't push you into a replacement your roof doesn't need.
Most homeowners get the runaround. Three weeks of phone tag, a vague handshake number, then a crew shows up two months later. We try to do the opposite.
Usually the same day. We'll ask a few questions about the house — age, story height, last time it was reroofed, what's going on now — and book a time to come measure.
We climb the roof when it's safe to climb. We check decking, fasteners, flashing, valleys, and ventilation. We use EagleView for the dimensions, but we don't pretend a satellite report tells the whole story.
Materials, brand names, nail pattern, underlayment, ice-and-water coverage, ventilation plan. Two or three shingle options if you want them. No "good-better-best" pressure.
A typical 30-square roof is one to two days. We tarp landscaping, magnet-sweep the driveway twice, and the foreman walks the roof with you before we pack out.
System warranty registered with the manufacturer, workmanship warranty in writing, and the same people you met on day one are the ones you call if anything ever comes up.
"They tore off the old roof, fixed two pieces of rotten decking I didn't know about, and showed me photos before they covered them up. Driveway was cleaner than when they started. That's the part you don't expect."— Patricia D., Bloomfield Township
"We got three bids. Theirs wasn't the cheapest, but it was the only one that spelled out the ice and water coverage and the nail pattern. Two winters in, no ice dams, no leaks. Sold."— Mark R., Rochester Hills
We keep our service area tight on purpose. Same crews, same suppliers, same drive home at night.
We'll come out, measure the roof, and email you a written spec within two business days. No high-pressure pitch, no "sign tonight" discount.
